Dear Mr. Barker:
Hi I am an 8th grade student at Pocola Middle School. I am required to send a letter to my favorite star. I picked you because I always loved to watch The Price is Right with my great uncle every day. The day I heard you were going to leave the show I was devastated.
When the Grammys came on television that one day I couldn’t wait to see if would get the award for the best game show host. I was so happy when you got the award I got the phone and called my great uncle to tell him.
I also loved the movie that you were in, “Happy Gilmore”. I hope that you will type me back or send me any information, because I would love to show it to my great uncle. Since my great uncle is in the hospital he would just love for me to show him something that you wrote or typed.
Sincerely,
Colton Grober,
student
